Web Site, Email, and Information Policies

We respect the privacy of our customers and visitors to the Web site. We are gravely concerned about practices that violate basic rights of choice and confidentiality.

Here is our covenant with those who provide us with their personal information:

Consent and Choice

We promise to respect the purpose for which our visitors and customers gave us the information. We will remove names immediately upon request.

Third-Party Use

We promise not to rent, sell, or loan our subscriber lists to third parties for email marketing, or for any other reason.

We promise to send periodicals only to those people who request them as well as immediately unsubscribe those who request that.

Log Files

As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files.  The information in the log files include  your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL etc), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.

Cookies and Web Beacons

We do use cookies to store information, such as your personal preferences when you visit our site.  This could include the ability to login to some of our features, such as checking on orders.

This website uses Google Analytics and AdWords

This website employs Google Analytics Tracking, Google AdWords search advertising and the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an enquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the Titan Tanks website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, and if you want to you can opt of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page
